Back to the Future

Over the years. I’ve attended several Suits & Sneakers events at the Tryst and just couldn’t miss the final one on Wednesday, 18th June. Seasoned entrepreneurs have been featured on stage, covering personal development, psychology, strategy, finance and technology. In every event, there is always something that will stick, longer afterwards.

Mark Sham delivered an exclusive keynote for entrepreneurs, Back to the Future (based upon the that famous 1980s movie) where he incisively examined change – the world we came from, where we are today and where we are going.

Mark shared several concepts that entrepreneurs should study, understand and apply in their business

* Local and linear vs global and exponential change
*   What is considered exceptional yesterday, is expected today
* Zero marginal cost redefines products/services
* Survival of the fastest over the fittest
* People struggle with what is required emotionally over logically to change
* Convergence of technologies disrupts industries and professions
* Rewire and relearn to remain relevant

May the next chapter continue with high inspiration, deep courage and fast learning to support entrepreneurs on their path.
