he 2024 Business Partners Ltd. Entrepreneur of the Yearยฎ awards were held last week, celebrating entrepreneurial excellence in the country.
I am humbled to serve on the independent judging panel, interviewing the 16 finalists, that came from different provinces, industries and backgrounds. Each had a remarkable story to share about themselves and their business.
Today, I want to share a golden lesson from the Winners (Part 1 of 2) to inspire and guide others on their path to excellence.

For Sheldon Tatchell a barber is a superhero in his community. Across the road from his business, there was competition from other barbers. They provided the same service to the customers, it was a monetary transaction. When customers went to his barbershop, Sheldon Tatchell built relationships with them. They came back again and again.
Sheldon Tatchell says “One day I just realized that i wasn’t cutting ordinary hair in that place, I was cutting the hair of legends in this community of Eldorado Park”
