TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

The Promoter of the Small Business Competition is Milestone Ventures  (‘Promoter’).

2. Duration

Start: 29 May

Finish: 10 June, 23h59

Winners notified: 11 June

3. Qualifying Criteria

To enter the competition the qualifying criteria are

3.1 SA citizen

3.2 Business is in SA

3.3 You are over the age of 18

3.4 You want to start a business or have an existing one.

3.5 Annual revenue < R 10 million

3.6 Our existing clients, suppliers, partner organisations and their employees cannot enter the competition. 

 
4.1 Prizes are listed here
 
4.2 All winners will be notified via email and have 7 calendar days to claim  their prize, failing which it will be forfeited. 

4.3 The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash

5. How to enter the Small Business Competition
 
5.1 A participant must:
complete the compulsory fields on the entry form  its and submit it on this website.
 
5.2 Accept these terms and conditions;
 
5.3 Be the duly authorised representative of the small business 
 
5.4 A winner must be willing to participate in any media and promotions that
endorse the Promoter and the winner’s business at no fee.
 
6. Selection of Prize Winners and Access to Prizes
 
6.1 An independent third party service provider is used to collect and store the Small Business Competition entries.
 
6.2 The winners are randomly drawn
 
6.3 The Promoter’s decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the Small Business Competition.  No correspondence will be entered into.
 
6.4 The Promoter, Sponsors and Service Providers delivering the prize to the winner,  will not be liable for delays or failure to deliver any of the prizes resulting from acts beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
 
Such acts include, without limitation, acts of God, strikes, lockouts, riots, acts of war, civil disorder, rebellions or revolutions in any country, epidemics, acts of terrorism, vandalism or sabotage, governmental regulations imposed after the fact, communication line failures, power and telecommunications failures, earthquakes, fire, floods or other disasters (‘Force Majeure Event’).
 
6.5  If a prize is affected by a Force Majeure Event, the Promoter, the Sponsors or the Service Providers will notify the winners as soon as reasonably possible.
 
7. Exclusion of Liability
 
The Promoter is not liable for any accident, injury, harm, death, damage, costs and/or direct or indirect loss sustained by any person that participates in the Small Business Competition and/or is a winner. 
 
8. General Terms and Conditions
 
8.1 All information relating to the Small Business  Competition and the terms and conditions are on this website and web page.

8.4 By entering the Small Business Competition all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
 
8.5 By entering the Small Business Competition the participant agrees to receive future email, SMS and Whatsapp communication regarding the Small Business competition, the prizes, business information, opportunities and resources provided by Chart Your Path.
